- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
- 3 cups water (or chicken broth for extra flavor)
- 16 oz uncooked pasta (penne or rotini works best)
- 1 (14 oz) bag frozen fully cooked meatballs
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large 9×13 baking dish, combine uncooked pasta, marinara sauce, water (or broth), Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well so pasta is evenly coated.
- Add the frozen meatballs and gently mix them in.
- Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 35–40 minutes, or until pasta is tender.
- Remove foil, sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
- Return to oven uncovered and bake an additional 10 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
