Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon dried dandelion root (or 1 dandelion tea bag)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
  • 1 slice of lemon (optional)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • Honey (optional, to taste)

Instructions

  1. Boil water – Bring 1 cup of water to a boil.
  2. Steep ingredients – In a mug, add the dandelion root and grated ginger. Pour the boiling water over the ingredients.
  3. Let steep – Cover and let it steep for about 10–15 minutes.
  4. Strain and serve – Strain the tea into a clean cup. Add lemon slice and honey if desired.
  5. Drink – Enjoy once or twice a day, preferably in the morning and early afternoon.
