Ingredients
- 1 cup of water
- 4–5 whole cloves
- 1 small piece of cinnamon stick (optional)
- 1–2 teaspoons honey (optional)
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- In a small pot, bring the water to a boil.
- Add the cloves (and cinnamon stick if using) to the boiling water.
- Reduce heat and let it simmer for 5–7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and strain the tea into a cup.
- Stir in honey and lemon juice if desired.
