Ingredients
- 1 medium piece fresh ginger (about 2 inches), peeled and grated
- 1 lemon, freshly squeezed
- 1–2 teaspoons honey (optional, for taste)
- 1 cup hot water
Instructions
- Boil 1 cup of water and pour it into a mug.
- Add the grated ginger to the hot water. Let it steep for about 5–10 minutes.
- Strain the tea to remove the ginger pieces.
- Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice.
- Add honey if you like it a bit sweeter.
- Drink warm, ideally 15–30 minutes before breakfast.
Tip: For best results, use fresh ginger and lemon each time. Drink daily for up to 7 days, then give your body a break.
