DIY skincare recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder (not baking soda)
  • 1 tablespoon rose water (or plain water)
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional for extra moisture)
  • 2–3 drops of tea tree or lavender essential oil (optional, for calming effect)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine Ingredients:
In a small bowl, mix the baking powder with rose water (or plain water) until it forms a smooth, spreadable paste.
  2. Add Extras (Optional):
Stir in honey and essential oil if using. These help soothe the skin and provide extra hydration.
  3. Apply to Skin:
Gently apply the paste to clean, damp skin. Avoid sensitive areas like the eyes and lips.
  4. Massage:
Using circular motions, massage gently for 1–2 minutes. This helps exfoliate dead skin and unclog pores.
  5. Let Sit (Optional):
Leave the paste on your face for up to 5 minutes if you want a mild brightening effect.
  6. Rinse Off:
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat your skin dry with a soft towel.
  7. Moisturize:
Always follow up with a good moisturizer to keep your skin soft and balanced.

Note:
Use this remedy 1–2 times a week only. Always do a patch test before using any new skincare treatment, especially if you have sensitive skin.
