Ingredients
- 1 packet fruit-flavored jelly (any color, prepared and cubed)
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup fresh cream
- ½ cup condensed milk (optional for sweetness)
- 2 tbsp custard powder (vanilla or mango flavor)
- 2 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup mixed canned fruits (drained)
- ½ cup boiled vermicelli (seviyan)
- ¼ cup chopped nuts (pistachios, almonds, cashews)
- Few drops of rose water or ½ tsp vanilla essence
- Ice cubes or crushed ice (optional for serving)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix custard powder with ½ cup cold milk until smooth.
- In a saucepan, heat the remaining milk with sugar until it starts to boil.
- Slowly add the custard mixture to the milk, stirring continuously until it thickens. Let it cool completely.
- In a blender, combine cream, condensed milk, and cooled custard. Blend for a few seconds until smooth.
- In a large bowl, mix jelly cubes, mixed fruits, vermicelli, and nuts.
- Pour the blended custard-cream mixture over the fruits and jelly.
- Add rose water or vanilla essence for fragrance.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
