Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (120ml) milk
- 1/2 cup (120ml) vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups (190g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven & Prepare Pan
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Grease and line an 8-inch (20cm) cake pan with parchment paper.
- Mix the Batter
- In a large bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add milk, oil, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt, folding gently until combined.
- Bake the Cake
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool & Serve
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
