Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) milk
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 cups (190g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven & Prepare Pan
    • Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
    • Grease and line an 8-inch (20cm) cake pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the Batter
    • In a large bowl, whisk eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
    • Add milk, oil, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
    • Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt, folding gently until combined.
  3. Bake the Cake
    • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
    • Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  4. Cool & Serve
