- 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp melted butter (or oil)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: chocolate chips, sprinkles, or fruit bits
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and lump-free.
- Fold in any add-ins like chocolate chips or sprinkles if using.
- Divide the batter evenly between two microwave-safe mugs or silicone cupcake molds.
- Microwave one cupcake at a time on high for 60–90 seconds (depending on your microwave wattage). The cake should rise and be springy to the touch.
- Let it cool slightly and enjoy warm – optionally topped with whipped cream, powdered sugar, or a drizzle of syrup.
