Crispy Salmon Patties Recipe

These crispy salmon patties are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that’s perfect for a weeknight meal or a weekend brunch. The salmon is packed with flavor and the patties are perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound cooked salmon, flaked
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the salmon, bread crumbs, flour, egg, milk, mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.
  3. Form the salmon mixture into 4 patties.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in the skillet until shimmering.
  5. Add the salmon patties to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.  
  6. Serve immediately with your favorite toppings, such as lemon wedges, tartar sauce, or aioli.

Tips:

  • For extra flavor, add chopped dill, parsley, or chives to the salmon mixture.
  • If you don’t have panko bread crumbs, you can use regular bread crumbs.
  • Serve these salmon patties with a side of salad, roasted vegetables, or rice.
