Ingredients
- 8 mozzarella cheese sticks (string cheese)
- 8 spring roll wrappers (or egg roll wrappers)
- 1 egg (beaten, for sealing)
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko works best for extra crunch)
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
- Salt & black pepper (to taste)
- Oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Place one mozzarella stick at the edge of a spring roll wrapper. Roll tightly, folding in the sides. Seal the edge with beaten egg.
- Coat each roll lightly with flour, dip into beaten egg, then roll in breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Fry the cheese rolls until golden brown and crispy (about 2–3 minutes per side).
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with marinara sauce or your favorite dip.
