Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken wings (split, tips removed)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp baking powder (for extra crispiness)
Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven – Set your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment and place a wire rack on top (helps airflow for crispy wings).
- Prepare Wings – Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss wings with olive oil, baking powder, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder until evenly coated.
- Bake – Arrange wings in a single layer on the rack. Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
- Make Garlic Parmesan Sauce – While wings bake, melt butter in a small pan. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan, parsley, and red pepper flakes.
- Toss Wings – Once baked, transfer hot wings into a large bowl. Pour garlic Parmesan sauce over them and toss until well coated.
- Serve – Garnish with extra Parmesan and parsley. Serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dip.
