  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
  • 1 boiled mashed potato (for binding)

For Coating:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1–2 cups breadcrumbs
  • Oil for deep frying

Step 1: Prepare the Filling

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan.
  2. Add chopped onion and sauté until soft.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for 30 seconds.
  4. Add shredded chicken (or beef), spices, and salt.
  5. Cook for 2–3 minutes.
  6. Turn off heat and mix in mashed potato and fresh coriander.
  7. Let the mixture cool completely.

Step 2: Shape the Balls

  1. Take a small portion of mixture.
  2. Shape into small round balls or oval croquettes.
  3. Repeat until all mixture is used.

Step 3: Coat the Balls

  1. Roll each ball in flour.
  2. Dip into beaten egg.
  3. Coat well with breadcrumbs.

Step 4: Fry

  1. Heat oil on medium flame.
  2. Fry balls in batches until golden brown and crispy.
