Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) chicken tenders (or chicken breast cut into strips)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra flavor)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp salt
- Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
For the dipping sauce (choose or mix):
- Honey mustard (½ cup honey + ¼ cup mustard)
- Ranch dressing
- Spicy mayo (½ cup mayo + 2 tbsp sriracha)
Instructions
- Prepare coating stations
- In one bowl, add flour.
- In a second bowl, beat the eggs.
- In a third bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Coat chicken
- Dredge chicken strips in flour, shaking off excess.
- Dip into egg mixture.
- Roll in breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
- Cook chicken tenders
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
- Fry chicken tenders in batches for 4–6 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Place on a paper towel–lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Serve
- Arrange chicken tenders on a plate.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
