Crispy Chicken Tenders with Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) chicken tenders (or chicken breast cut into strips)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

For the dipping sauce (choose or mix):

  • Honey mustard (½ cup honey + ¼ cup mustard)
  • Ranch dressing
  • Spicy mayo (½ cup mayo + 2 tbsp sriracha)

Instructions

  1. Prepare coating stations
    • In one bowl, add flour.
    • In a second bowl, beat the eggs.
    • In a third bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Coat chicken
    • Dredge chicken strips in flour, shaking off excess.
    • Dip into egg mixture.
    • Roll in breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
  3. Cook chicken tenders
    • Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat.
    • Fry chicken tenders in batches for 4–6 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
    • Place on a paper towel–lined plate to drain excess oil.
  4. Serve
    • Arrange chicken tenders on a plate.
    • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
