- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- ½ cup unsalted butter

Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch square or round baking pan.
- Prepare Batter: In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Combine: Add the flour gradually and mix until smooth.
- Heat Milk & Butter: In a small saucepan, heat the milk and butter together until the butter melts and the mixture is hot (but not boiling).
- Mix: Slowly pour the hot milk mixture into the batter while whisking continuously. Add the vanilla extract and mix until fully combined.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool & Serve: Let the cake cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm or chilled for a delicious creamy treat!
