- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- Preheat & Prep
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper. - Mix Dry Ingredients
In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder. Set aside. - Beat Eggs & Sugar
In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together using a hand mixer or stand mixer on high speed until thick and pale (about 5-6 minutes). - Add Milk & Vanilla
Warm the milk slightly (don’t boil), then slowly pour it into the egg mixture while beating on low speed. Add vanilla extract and mix until combined. - Fold in Dry Ingredients
Gently fold the flour mixture into the wet ingredients using a spatula, making sure not to deflate the batter. - Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. - Cool & Serve
Let the cake cool completely. You can dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with sweetened condensed milk for extra creaminess.
