Ingredients
- 1 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup cooked chicken (shredded or diced, optional)
- 1/2 cup cooked spinach (optional)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs (beaten)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, black pepper, and optional ingredients like chicken or spinach. Mix until well blended.
- Scoop out small portions of the creamy mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls. Set aside on a parchment-lined tray.
- Set up a breading station: One shallow dish with flour, another with the beaten eggs, and a third with breadcrumbs.
- Roll each cheese ball first in the flour, then dip in the egg, and coat with breadcrumbs. Press gently to ensure they are well coated.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or fryer over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, carefully drop the cheese bombs into the oil, frying in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
Enjoy your creamy, cheesy, crispy fried bombs!
