Ingredients
- 4 cups corn kernels (fresh, frozen, or canned and drained)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- Fresh chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the corn kernels and cook for about 3–5 minutes until heated through.
- Stir in the cream, milk, and cream cheese. Continue stirring until the cream cheese is fully melted and the mixture becomes creamy.
- Season with salt, pepper, sugar (if using), and garlic powder. Stir well.
- Let it simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm!
