Creamy Corn

Ingredients

  • 4 cups corn kernels (fresh, frozen, or canned and drained)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • Fresh chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  2. Add the corn kernels and cook for about 3–5 minutes until heated through.
  3. Stir in the cream, milk, and cream cheese. Continue stirring until the cream cheese is fully melted and the mixture becomes creamy.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, sugar (if using), and garlic powder. Stir well.
  5. Let it simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm!
