- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 2 cups crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Cooking spray or oil for baking
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
- Prepare the filling: In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Stuff the chicken: Slice a pocket into each chicken breast and fill with the cream cheese mixture. Secure with toothpicks if needed.
- Set up the breading station: Place flour in one bowl, whisk together eggs and milk in a second bowl, and put crushed Doritos in a third bowl.
- Coat the chicken: Dredge each stuffed chicken breast in flour, dip into the egg mixture, then coat evenly with crushed Doritos.
- Bake: Arrange coated chicken in the prepared baking dish. Spray lightly with cooking spray for extra crispiness. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
