Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat the Milk & Cream:
    In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy cream, milk, and sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved and the mixture is warm (do not boil).

    Add the chopped chocolate and butter into the warm cream mixture. Stir constantly until the chocolate melts completely and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Thicken (Optional):
