Cracker Barrel Meatloaf

INGREDENT

  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef
  • ¾ cup crushed Ritz crackers (about 20 crackers)
  • ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup finely chopped onion
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

For the Topping:

  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, crushed crackers, cheese, onion, milk, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined—don’t overmix.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the prepared pan.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
