INGREDENT
- 1 ½ lbs ground beef
- ¾ cup crushed Ritz crackers (about 20 crackers)
- ½ cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup finely chopped onion
- ¼ cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
For the Topping:
- ½ cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, crushed crackers, cheese, onion, milk, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined—don’t overmix.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the prepared pan.
- In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
