Country Ranch Green Beans & Potatoes with Bacon Recipe

This classic side dish is a crowd-pleaser, combining the flavors of crispy bacon, tender potatoes, and fresh green beans with a tangy ranch dressing. It’s the perfect accompaniment to any main course.  

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound red potatoes, cubed
  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled  
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Potatoes:
    • Boil the cubed potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Vegetables:
    • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Add the chopped onion and sauté until softened.
    • Add the green beans and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until slightly tender.
  3. Combine Ingredients:
    • Add the cooked potatoes, crumbled bacon, black pepper, and garlic powder to the skillet with the green beans and onion.
    • Stir to combine all ingredients.
  4. Add Ranch Dressing:
    • Pour the ranch dressing over the mixture and stir until well coated.
  5. Serve:
