Cottage Cheese Chips

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese (preferably low-fat or full-fat)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Non-stick cooking spray or parchment paper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly spray it with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Blend the cottage cheese:
In a blender or food processor, blend the cottage cheese until smooth and creamy. Add garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, then blend again to combine.
  3. Portion the mixture:
Using a spoon, drop small dollops of the blended cottage cheese mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Spread each dollop thinly into a circle (about 2 inches in diameter) using the back of the spoon.
  4. Bake the chips:
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the chips are golden brown and crispy around the edges. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
  5. Cool and serve:
Remove the chips from the oven and let them cool completely on the baking sheet to crisp up further. Carefully peel them off the parchment paper.
  6. Enjoy:
Serve the cottage cheese chips as a snack on their own or pair them with your favorite dips, such as guacamole, salsa, or hummus.

Storage Tip:
Store any leftover chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. For maximum crispness, enjoy them fresh.
