Condensed Milk Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz / 400 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter (or oil)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Optional Toppings:

  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • Fresh fruit or whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch (23 cm) round or square baking pan.
  2. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the condensed milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Add dry ingredients: Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold everything together until just combined—do not overmix.
  4. Pour & smooth: Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Bake: Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool & serve: Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar if desired and slice to serve.
