Condensed Milk Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8-inch round or square cake pan.
  2. Combine the sweetened condensed milk and melted butter in a large mixing bowl. Mix until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Serve plain, dusted with powdered sugar, or topped with fresh fruits or whipped cream if desired.
