Ingredients
- 1 can (14 oz / 400 g) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup (120 g) all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup (60 g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round or square cake pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the condensed milk and eggs until smooth and creamy.
- Add the melted butter and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold until you have a smooth batter with no lumps.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for about 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Dust with powdered sugar or top with whipped cream if you like. Slice and enjoy!
