Condensed Milk Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz / 400 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup (120 g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup (60 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch round or square cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the condensed milk and eggs until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the melted butter and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold until you have a smooth batter with no lumps.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for about 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar or top with whipped cream if you like. Slice and enjoy!
