Condensed Milk Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz / 400g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup (120g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup (115g) melted butter (unsalted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Optional:

  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Fresh berries or whipped cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8-inch (20 cm) round or loaf cake pan.
  2. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the condensed milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Combine everything: Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Stir until just combined—don’t overmix.
  5. Pour and bake: Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 30–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool: Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Serve: Dust with powdered sugar if desired. Delicious with coffee, tea, or fresh fruit!
