Condensed Milk Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted (or ½ cup vegetable oil)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a round cake pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together condensed milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until well combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool slightly before removing from the pan.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar or serve plain with tea/coffee.

Would you like me to also add a frosting/glaze option (like condensed milk glaze or whipped cream topping) to make it extra special?
