- 1 can (14 oz / 397 g) sweetened condensed milk
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup (240 ml) milk
- 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together condensed milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture, alternating with milk, until well combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and serve plain, dusted with powdered sugar, or topped with fresh fruit.
