- 1 can (14 oz / 396 g) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 3 large eggs
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round or square baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the condensed milk, melted butter, and eggs until smooth.
- Add in the vanilla extract and stir to combine.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until a smooth batter forms.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with a glaze if desired.
