Condensed Milk Cake


INGREDENT

  • 1 can (14 oz / 396 g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round or square baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the condensed milk, melted butter, and eggs until smooth.
  3. Add in the vanilla extract and stir to combine.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until a smooth batter forms.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with a glaze if desired.
