Condensed Milk Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar (optional, depending on sweetness preference)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round or square cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar (if using) until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the condensed milk, followed by the whole milk, and mix until well combined.
  6. Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the cake light and fluffy.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Optional: Top with powdered sugar, whipped cream, or fresh fruit for extra flavor and decoration.

Enjoy your soft, moist, and sweet condensed milk cake!
