Ingredients
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sugar (optional, depending on sweetness preference)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round or square cake pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar (if using) until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the condensed milk, followed by the whole milk, and mix until well combined.
- Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the cake light and fluffy.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Optional: Top with powdered sugar, whipped cream, or fresh fruit for extra flavor and decoration.
Enjoy your soft, moist, and sweet condensed milk cake!
