Coleslaw Recipe

A simple and creamy coleslaw recipe made with shredded cabbage, carrots, and a tangy dressing. Perfect as a side dish for picnics, barbecues, or any meal!


Ingredients:

  • 4 cups shredded cabbage (green or a mix of green and purple)
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and carrots.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots, tossing until everything is well coated.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt, pepper, or sugar if desired.
  5. Optionally, sprinkle chopped parsley on top for extra color and flavor.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
