Ingredients
- 1 cup freshly brewed hot coffee
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar (or to taste)
- ½ cup milk (whole or any preferred)
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Whipped cream for topping (optional)
- Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Brew 1 cup of hot coffee and set aside.
- In a small saucepan, mix cocoa powder, sugar, and milk over medium heat. Stir continuously until smooth and hot.
- Add the brewed coffee to the saucepan and stir well.
- Remove from heat and mix in heavy cream and vanilla extract.
- Pour into a mug.
- Top with whipped cream and sprinkle chocolate shavings or cocoa powder if desired.
- Serve hot and enjoy your creamy mocha!
