INGREDENT
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon turmeric powder (or 1-inch fresh turmeric root, grated)
- 1 small onion (grated or juiced)
- 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
- 2 tablespoons raw honey
- 1 lemon (juice only)
- 2 cups water
- Optional: a pinch of black pepper (to activate turmeric)
Instructions
- In a small pot, add water, ginger, turmeric, garlic, and onion.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 15–20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Strain the mixture into a cup.
- Add lemon juice and raw honey, stir well.
- Drink warm, 2–3 times a day for three days.
Note:
- Best taken on an empty stomach or between meals.
- Always consult with your doctor if you’re pregnant, nursing, or on medications.
