- 5–7 whole cloves
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
- 1 small piece of cinnamon stick (optional for flavor)
Instructions
- Boil 1 cup of water in a small saucepan.
- Add the whole cloves (and cinnamon stick if using).
- Let it simmer for 5–10 minutes until the water turns light brown.
- Remove from heat and strain into a cup.
