INGREDIENTS

  • 5–7 whole cloves
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil 1 cup of water in a small saucepan.
  2. Add the whole cloves (and cinnamon stick if using).
  3. Let it simmer for 5–10 minutes until the water turns light brown.
  4. Remove from heat and strain into a cup.
  5. Add honey if desired and stir well.
