Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (raw, unfiltered)
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder (or 1-inch fresh turmeric root, grated)
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper (helps absorb curcumin in turmeric)
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey (optional, for taste)
  • 1 small clove garlic, finely minced (optional, for lungs and immunity)
  • A few fresh mint leaves (optional, for flavor and digestion)

Instructions

  1. Warm the water to just below boiling (about 120°F/50°C).
  2. In a glass or mug, combine lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, turmeric, black pepper, and honey.
  3. Stir well until fully dissolved. If using garlic or mint, add them now.
  4. Let the mixture steep for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Stir again and drink on an empty stomach in the morning for best results.
