- 1 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (raw, unfiltered)
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder (or 1-inch fresh turmeric root, grated)
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper (helps absorb curcumin in turmeric)
- 1 teaspoon raw honey (optional, for taste)
- 1 small clove garlic, finely minced (optional, for lungs and immunity)
- A few fresh mint leaves (optional, for flavor and digestion)
Instructions
- Warm the water to just below boiling (about 120°F/50°C).
- In a glass or mug, combine lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, turmeric, black pepper, and honey.
- Stir well until fully dissolved. If using garlic or mint, add them now.
- Let the mixture steep for 2–3 minutes.
- Stir again and drink on an empty stomach in the morning for best results.
