Ingredients
- 1 medium lemon, sliced (with peel if organic)
- 1 small piece fresh ginger (about 1 inch), peeled and sliced
- 1 tsp turmeric powder or freshly grated turmeric
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (with the mother)
- 1 handful fresh parsley or cilantro
- 2–3 cloves garlic, crushed (optional, strong taste but great for lungs)
- 4 cups filtered water
- Honey (optional, for taste)
Instructions
- Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan.
- Add ginger, lemon slices, turmeric, and parsley (and garlic if using).
- Simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Add apple cider vinegar and honey if desired.
- Strain and drink warm or refrigerate to enjoy cold.
