- 1 medium ripe tomato, sliced

Instructions:
- Start by toasting the bread slices lightly, if desired, for added texture.
- Spread a generous layer of mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer the tomato slices evenly on one slice of bread, ensuring they cover the surface well.

- Place a few fresh basil leaves on top of the tomatoes for an aromatic touch, if you like.
