Instructions
- Lay out the slices of bread on a clean surface.
- If you like, spread a thin layer of butter or mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice.
- Place a slice of cheese on one slice of bread.
- Top with slices of ham.
- Add another slice of cheese if you’d like it extra cheesy.
- Cover with the second slice of bread.
- For a cold sandwich, cut in half and serve as is.
- For a warm sandwich, grill it in a pan or sandwich press for 2–3 minutes per side, until the bread is golden and the cheese is melted.
