Classic Crab Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound fresh or canned crab meat, drained and flaked
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning (or to taste)
  • 1/4 cup diced celery
  • 1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced green onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and Old Bay seasoning. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Gently fold in the crab meat, being careful not to break up the lumps too much.
  3. Add the diced celery, red bell pepper, and green onions to the mixture. Stir until evenly distributed.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting as needed.
  5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
