  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp salt

For the Filling:

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup softened butter

For the Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tbsp milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add melted butter, egg, salt, and flour. Mix and knead until a soft dough forms.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Roll the dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
  5. Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly.
