Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
- 1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
Instruction
- Make the crust:
In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×9-inch or 9×13-inch baking dish to form the crust. Refrigerate while preparing the filling. - Prepare the filling:
In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the whipped topping until well combined. - Assemble the dessert:
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the chilled crust. Spoon the cherry pie filling on top, spreading it out carefully. - Chill:
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow it to set properly. - Serve:
Slice into squares and serve chilled. Enjoy your Classic Cherry Delight!
