Cinnamon Sugar Biscuit Bites Recipe

These bite-sized treats are perfect for a quick snack or a sweet addition to your tea time. The flaky biscuits are dusted with a cinnamon-sugar mixture for a warm and comforting flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the dough: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the milk until just combined.
  2. Shape the biscuits: Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness. Cut out circles using a 2-inch cookie cutter.
  3. Combine the cinnamon-sugar mixture: In a small bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
  4. Bake the biscuits: Place the biscuits on a ungreased baking sheet. Brush the tops with milk. Sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Cool and serve: Let the biscuits cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve warm or cold.
