Ingredients
- 2 ripe but firm bananas
- 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil (or any neutral oil)
- 1 tablespoon sugar (adjust to taste)
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
- Prep the Bananas:
Peel the bananas and slice them evenly into thin rounds, about ⅛-inch thick. - Coat with Flavor:
In a bowl, mix the banana slices with melted coconut oil, sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until well coated. - Preheat Air Fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes. - Air Fry the Chips:
Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Don’t overcrowd—work in batches if needed. - Cook Until Crispy:
Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through. Keep an eye on them in the last couple of minutes to prevent burning. Chips should be golden and slightly crisp. - Cool and Crisp Up:
Remove from the air fryer and let them cool completely on a wire rack. They’ll crisp up more as they cool. - Serve or Store:
Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
