Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe but firm bananas
  • 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil (or any neutral oil)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Bananas:
Peel the bananas and slice them evenly into thin rounds, about ⅛-inch thick.
  2. Coat with Flavor:
In a bowl, mix the banana slices with melted coconut oil, sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until well coated.
  3. Preheat Air Fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3 minutes.
  4. Air Fry the Chips:
Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Don’t overcrowd—work in batches if needed.
  5. Cook Until Crispy:
Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through. Keep an eye on them in the last couple of minutes to prevent burning. Chips should be golden and slightly crisp.
  6. Cool and Crisp Up:
Remove from the air fryer and let them cool completely on a wire rack. They’ll crisp up more as they cool.
  7. Serve or Store:
Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
