Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

For the Cinnamon Swirl:

  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

For the Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. Add milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter. Mix until smooth and pour batter into the prepared pan.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter until creamy.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the cinnamon mixture over the batter, then swirl with a knife for a marble effect.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle over the warm cake.
