Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Cinnamon Sugar Coating:
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat Oven & Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Combine Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Make Batter: Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack.
- Coat with Cinnamon Sugar: Brush the bread with melted butter, then sprinkle or roll in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
