Cinnamon Apple Crisp Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Topping:

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cold and cubed

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the Filling: In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Toss to coat the apples evenly.
  3. Prepare the Topping: In another bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Assemble the Crisp: Transfer the apple mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the apples.
