Ingredients:
- Crust:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- Filling:
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Chocolate Topping:
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
Instructions:
Make the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, and salt.
- Stir in melted butter until combined.
- Press the mixture into the prepared pan.
Make the Filling:
- In a large bowl, cream together peanut butter, butter, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Spread the filling over the crust.
Bake:
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool completely before adding the chocolate topping.
Make the Chocolate Topping:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth.
- Spread the melted chocolate over the cooled bars.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before cutting into bars.
