Chocolate Heaven Cake recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ¾ cups granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add wet ingredients: Stir in milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
  4. Incorporate boiling water: Gradually add boiling water while mixing. The batter will be thin.
  5. Bake: Pour batter evenly into the prepared pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Cool: Let cakes cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
