- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- â…“ cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Make three wells in the dry ingredients. Pour vanilla extract into one, vinegar into another, and vegetable oil into the last.
- Pour the water over everything and mix until fully combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
