A refreshing and creamy chicken salad perfect for sandwiches, wraps, or serving with fresh greens. This classic dish combines tender chicken with crunchy vegetables and a tangy dressing.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded or diced chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (optional for added creaminess)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup finely diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup finely diced celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or almonds, 1/4 cup dried cranberries, or 1/2 cup seedless grapes (halved)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, mayonnaise, Greek yogurt (if using), and Dijon mustard. Stir until well combined.
  2. Add the diced red onion, celery, parsley, and lemon juice. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
