Ingredients

For the filling:

  • 2 chicken breasts (boiled and shredded)
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika or chili flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro or parsley (optional)

For the dough or wrap:

  • 4 tortilla wraps or parathas
  • Butter or oil for toasting

Optional toppings:

  • Lettuce
  • Tomato slices
  • Cheese slices
  • Ketchup or hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling:
    • In a pan, heat oil and sauté onions until translucent.
    • Add garlic and ginger; cook for 1 minute.
    • Add shredded chicken, black pepper, paprika, and salt. Stir well.
    • Cook for 2–3 minutes, then remove from heat and let it cool.
    • Mix in mayonnaise or cream cheese and chopped herbs (if using).
  2. Assemble the Rolls:
    • Warm the tortilla or paratha on a skillet until soft and pliable.
    • Spread 2–3 tablespoons of chicken filling on each wrap.
    • Add lettuce, tomato slices, cheese, or sauces if desired.
    • Roll tightly like a burrito.
  3. Toast the Rolls (Optional but recommended):
    • Lightly butter a skillet and toast each roll until golden on both sides.
  4. Serve:
    • Slice in half and serve hot with dipping sauces or salad on the side.
